Shoes, shoes, shoes (Bont and Nike)

  • Selling some shoes cos I only have one pair of feet, so I don't use these that much.

Bont Vaypor Carbon Road Cycling shoes (EU43)
Usual signs of wear, no major defects. This shoe is one of the stiffest shoes you can buy and the heat mouldable sole helps you get the perfect fit. £60

Bont Riot Carbon Road Cycling Shoes (EU44)
Perfect entry level shoe for Bont beginners. I used these for a couple of years before upgrading to the Vaypor shoes and they are excellent value for money. These ones have seen better days. There are some major scuffs on the toes that appeared after I was involved in a RTC in 2014, but I carried on using them without noticing the hole for a few weeks after. The hole is only in the first layer of material and there is plenty of carbon between your toes and the outside world still (see photos). £20

Nike Blue Carbon Composite Road Cycling Shoes (EU42)
Not sure which model these are. Possibly Altea. It doesn’t really matter. I used to use these when I had a blue bike. I don’t have a blue bike now, so these haven’t been used in a long time. Can be used with road or mob cleats. £15

Nike Poggio OCLV Carbon Road Cycling Shoes (EU42)
These are super light and super stiff shoes by Nike, from the Lance golden era. They have fittings for road or mob cleats in the sole. I’ve used Sugru to replace the heel tips that wore away cos I walked in them a little too much. £30
