Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but it's by far the best shed thread, so thought it made sense.
How do people store their measuring instruments? Things like rulers, set squares, tape measures, plastic rulers, bendy rulers, etc.
I'm struggling to think of any good solutions, so wondered if there were any common places?
Best solution is a shadow board, or at least having nails in a wall to hang things from (some rulers have a hole to hang them from something) for ease of reach. A small draw or set of drawers would be fine.
If you're a true mechanic - all over the floor.

shadow board
I wonder about this. Only two have holes in them, so it doesn't seem to be the best option as it would be nice to have them all in one place. Also shadow boards are quite space intensive. I do plan to try and sort one out once I feel properly settled.
A draw could work, but isn't that quickly accessible.
