I really like that you didn't go for the obvious parts and trends. Gumwalls, discs, bar end shifters or brifters etc etc. Very understated but beautiful build.
I went for the tried and tested method, ironically I never thought about going on gravel/towpath when specced with 650b x 42mm in the first place.
The newer more ambitious one will actually going against the trends, such as going for 120mm spacing and 5/6 speed instead of the standard 130mm.
