It's a warm up, chopper races. Who gives.
I know sagan doesn't.Not aimed at hoke, but more general media. Who act like it's a deal.

It's one of the main goals for Ewen's season. For Sagan, not so much.

Exactly.

A win is a win whatever race it is, granted he might be trying harder as it's he back turf.

Who gives.
First time I've watched the TDU, and judging by the images on TV* nobody apart from Ulrika Scott/Oz riders
*It is block-o-vision Bike channel though, everyone could be really keen and I wouldn't notice.

9 wins in a row for the Aussies, it's clear they value this significantly more than the europeans. One way to look at it is how many of them try and get in the breakaways - yesterday/this morning would have been a great day for it, but only Bauer and Meyer bothered, Bauer getting caught 3km out.

I don't see you children complaining when the Belgian races primarily feature Belgian teams or the French races are full of French teams.
At the same time you cocks will all pipe up when the middle east races are on and "OMG Cav isn't winning stages!!" like he's finally lost it or some shit.
Maybe you should watch some car racing or something.

This is a good piece on the current situation with Sky;

Didn't everyone always know sky were doing everything they could in the grey area? Semi rhetorical.
We all know sky have broken any rules. But they've not taken the moral high ground at any point either. They wanted to win at all non illegal costs.What was in the jiffy doesn't matter. It's a great distraction from morally wrong TUE use and that the UCI still hasn't tightened up their TUE rules further.

It may, or may not, be morally wrong, but it's not against the rules of the sport so there is no wrongdoing.
TUE rules have been tightened, previously the UCI's chief medical officer had sole approval of them, but now a panel of three doctors needs to approve any TUE. This is how it's laid out in the WADA code and the UCI, as an Olympic sport governing body, have to comply with that.

Indeed. They've done nothing illegal.
If Dave B wasn't such a moron and they had a decent PR person, this would have all died down by now.

The Australian National Champs were two weeks ago as well, so it makes sense that all the Australian riders will have trained to be in top form for early January. Everyone else is still working off the Christmas puds.

Doesn't sound good. We are going to be deprived of what should have been a great career.

Good interview (by Shane Stokes - amazing!) with Cavendish;

I'd like to have heard Cav's thoughts on Roubaix. He looked up for it last year and he's working with Hammond now.
Would have been good if someone had proofread it too.

Good job Dan Mclay! Though best not to crash immediately after finishing...
