  • ah, so you're an open minded Globalist petitioning all nation states to abandon borders or any other institutions or customs that would hinder this ambition?

It's funny that this doesn't come accross in any of your posts-here was me thinking that despite all your claims to close intimacy with Scottish politics because you've visited a few times, your stated resentment of people there choosing to speak Gaelic (their native language) and your previous comparison of the SNP to the Nazis that you were actually just a facile idiot.

But lo! You're resentment isn't a political party advocating a peaceful renegotiation of treaties to be able to offer its people a more moderate, socially inclusive and European government, it's just any form of Nationhood existing in the first place.

Given that neither the Lib Dems, Labour or Tories are advocating for the abolition of either borders or Britain's statehood you'll be comparing them-and anyone supporting them-to Nazis any minute now, won't you?

  • I didn't compare the SNP to the Nazis. I never actually mentioned the Nazis. I think you're thinking of @johnnyhotdog

I also don't resent anyone speaking Scots Gaelic - and never said that either - but the 2011 Scottish census found 1.1% of the population could speak it, so by any linguistic definition it's not the native language of Scotland.

Presumably as you got your facts wrong you'll apologise for calling me a facile idiot now?

As I've already said my resentment isn't a political party advocating a peaceful renegotiation of treaties to be able to offer its people a more moderate, socially inclusive and European government, it's a political party using nationalism to further their 'movement'.

  • Did I say "it's the native language of Scotland"? I said it was the native language of the people you were referring to as if they just upped and decided to learn it to injure your delicate sense of globalism.

You have indeed compared the SNP to National Socialism in Germany, I'll be fucked if I'm going back through the referendum thread but I've a good memory for instances where people revert to their native language of Cuntish.

Your continually mindless insistence on focusing solely on the word Nationalist in isolation from any context (either Scottish or UK) is in itself pretty facile and self serving when as has been pointed out to you many times, it's a far more nuanced term that can imply a wholly different meaning.

If Scotland weren't already a distinct Nation your opinion might have a bit more traction, but it is and the SNP is no more divisive or Nationalist than the government of any other nation that wants to best represent the interests of its people.
