  • confusing. I have a geo chart on my computer which states 73 degree.
anyway, let say it is true because they say so; what would the effective difference be?
anybody ridden a v3 and a v4 and can speak from experience? cheers

  • Yes, the v3 geo chart was wayyyyy off, afair it was originally designed as a road bike with a 370mm a-c fork and geo chart was based to that. Then they slapped longer fork and called it a crossbike. So in reality angles were slack and bb was high (measured 55ish bb drop).

With v4 the geo chart seems accurate atleast.

Ridden both; had v3, now have v4. They both ride well, but v4 feels better.

  • Can anyone suggest a fork that would make a V3 handle more like a V4?
Got a V3, used as a commuter, but the blurb about the V4 being a bit quicker/more agile/more aggressive suits what I'm used to. Disc mount would be a bonus. Thanks in advance.

  • ok puts things in perspective. lemme have a ponder. can get v3 for cheapz thats why.. thanks!
