Bit late to the party, but I can say without worry that setting up fenders with mini-vs is almost always a headache and often requires finding a way to "lower" the fenders to clear the cable of the brakes which limits your maximum tire size options.
Go V brakes w/ travel agents, get good cantis, or go without fenders.

I see. But aren't Motolites a "true" v-brake with long cable pull?
