  • What's the forum take on Union? I remember interviewing Jeremy Torz for a story on coffee about 8 years ago when they were I guess a little less ubiquitous. Someone bought me a bag recently that I enjoyed in a French press but went to get another and it was about 8 quid for a 200g bag. Nice packaging but I thought a tad steep for a biggish chain? For day to day these days I've taken to getting a few bags of Waitrose '1' when I do an online shop. Get through about 1 bag in 3 days so don't feel it's the worst cost per quality ratio.

  • The light roast stuff (which is medium) called something like "Bright Note" is greta when fresh. Always check the roast date on the side. When fresh, their beans are as good as some of the best.
