Just had my film ever roll processed, using a little Olympus Trip. its safe to say I've caught the bug!

That tree (second picture) is amazing! Wish it was cropped a little less tight though.
What's the "ball" in the middle?

This came up a while ago; wanted to bump as I'm giving it another go -

Yeah I like that one best too! The ball is that creeping plant you see growing at the bottom of the trunk. I'm in the habit of just taking one frame of each scene on film, but TBH I'm happy with the framing of this.

Yea, I was wondering what kind of "creeping plant" this is!

So I got this Exa 500 from a forum member alongside other cameras. The shutter seems stuck, i press it and nothing happens, tried to open it, not difficult, but too complex to understand where it is stuck.
Brought it to Sandean Cameras in Clerkenwell for a free quote and they have asked me £189 + VAT (if I got it right) to fix it?!

@anidel Never go Sandean. They grossly overcharge. Try Aperture. Saying that, the camera seems to go for <£50 on ebay so it still might not be worth it.

(feels guilty - checks sales thread - relieved to see it was sold as a jammed shutter project)
