• As already suggested, they are motorcycle bars.

    The wide spacing of the knurled areas makes me sure of it.

    Warning: Being that motorcycle bars are designed for motorcycle risers which are much wider than bicycle stems, they might be more likely to bend.

    These braced ones are probably ok but I have just bent a set of aluminium 28.6mm 'fat' bars way out of shape by fitting them to my mtb in an old Azonic stem.

    @MisterMikkelare yours ali or steel? My braced steel ones are fine but the ali unbraced ones lasted only one ride, something to be aware of...

  • Mine are ali, and there is a bit of flex in them - but the manufacturer states they are made from 7075 and they feel solid enough. We'll see how long they last.
