Selling your bike to a shop?

Posted on
  • Hello,

A friend of mine was asking if I knew of any places in London where you can trade an old bike in, for cash monies, to save on the hassle of selling it yourself. Anyone got an suggestions? Is there such a thing?

I know Evans will do it for another bike but he needs rid for dollar.

    Cheers,
    Amber

  • Why dont stick it to classifieds?

  • cash convertors.

But really he should sell it direct to a buyer. So gumtree, ebay or classifieds in a place like this. If desperate he could just mill about a car boot sale. Any shop will give a really poor price, any shop that buys bikes like this will assume it is stolen, and not care - because they are the kind of place that supports theft. So really, sell direct.

  • Did this sell?

  • I'm interested in the wheels if you'll split?
