Classic and core are totally diff. Classic is sportwool, core is Polyester. They also fit differently, so order a couple of sizes. If you want a workhorse jersey then go for core.

I have a core long sleeve jersey, i like it. It's fleecy on the inside

Same here. Really like mine.

Depends on what you like in your jersey, if you like a relax cut then core is the way to go, if you like your clothing tight on you then head for pro or brevet.

Brevet isn't tight

Tight-(ish)?

• #27859
do you wear same size in PT and brevet?
-
• #27860
Yep xs
Now thinking about it, the new PT was super tight, whilst the brevet is tight but not too uncomfortable like the PT.

many thanks, it's the sportwool i like, i've other polyester jerseys...

The long brevet jersey sizes big compared to PT sizing.

Brevet jersey is tight in places but has massive wizard sleeves (SS version)
Classic jersey is one of my fave jerseys, although a little warm for the hottest summer days

Brevet wind proof jerseys offer a more fitted cut, much like pro team. I think this is down to the materials used in the construction of the wind proof areas. I love these (have short and long sleeve versions). I find the standard brevet has a relaxed fit that I don't care for. The brevet range has really come on in the last few months.

interesting, I hope they update the fit of all brevet kit, I dont mind it not being super tight (love the classic jersey) but it really did fit like shit. Shame as I liked the reflective details etc.

I heart my windblock Brevet jersey. If I had to choose one jersey to wear between spring-autumn it would be that.

Me too, it feels like a lot of thought and testing went into the design, it was my first choice every time last autum

I've got one of those lightweight pro team gilets. The one with a mesh back. Medium in black. Got it late 2016 but it's a bit flappy. Anyone got a small they may want to swap? Mine has a two way zip but don't mind a single zip. Long shot but fingers crossed.

Is the brevet gilet DWR coated? Washed it for the first time last week (liquid soap flakes, nothing harsh) and after 25 minutes of drizzle today the front had wetted through. I note the webpage just says windproof and not shower proof; is it worth spraying with reproofer next time I wash it?

DWR can be reactivated by tumble drying (when already dry). It's designed to last and is reasonably tough stuff.
That is of course if it had DWR to start...

i have a pro team sky one, size S, barely used, if that is of interest.

Bit annoying that you cant use touch screen with them
We've got a bloke in our club with that frame. It looks awesome with Campag EPS and deep sections...
He draws the line at flouro clothing (praise the lord)
