• yeah I love it, it's super comfy but as @MisterMikkel says it's got tricky handling when loaded up.
    I think i'm going to do something similar with a shorted stem and risers.
    I do the shopping on it and it's not easy to ride back home afterwards!

  • I'm sure it's probably been said before, but that's a massive amount of front-loading, especially for a frame that's not been designed with that in mind. Surely by this point, spreading the load between a front and rear rack is going to have more impact on handling than a short stem and wide bars?

  • yes, you're quite right and it's very rare for me to do that. normally there's no more than a few Kilos up front. I'd put a back rack on but normally I have a my daughter on the back.
    In fact the only reason I took the photo of it so overloaded was because it was 'my record' and made the bike unridable.
