Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Love my merino gloves. Have only needed more wind proofing in the very worst conditions. Outstanding 3.5 season gloves.

Zero wind or water proofing.

They are for early autumn imo.

Cold and dry is fine, as long as no wind. If it is wet and windy your hands freeze badly.

Anyone have a pair of th classic winter tights? Tempted to buy them instead of wearing classic bib shorts and leg warmers.

I do. They're good. But you'll need to wear shorts underneath. Normally I prefer padded tights, but YMMV.

I may have bought the leather town gloves (mostly to try and return) with my softshell over shirt order

Amey, what were your thoughts on the soft shell overshirt? I'm considering a splurge before the sale ends.

I don't really 'do' shirts, never wear one. So that was a bit weird. Otherwise its great. Material feels nice and warm and the fit is good too.

Town gloves are nice but I dont see the usage of them between all the gloves I already own.

Pretty impressed with the pro team softshell gloves. Nice and thin and breathable yet windproof. Reckon they will be good for colder cx races.

Not sure I would pay £70 for them though.
