Spoke with a couple of folks and they said to go for Goodridge. Does anyone know which particular kit I could buy for SRAM Road? Someone mentioned that SRAM use the same fittings all across their range, both MTB and Road.

(disclaimer Ive only seen sram rival hydro as web pictures)
The lever looks like it uses an unique banjo fitting that is slightly angled.
The post mount caliper fitting looks like a standard M8x0.75 fitting
I dont think goodridge makes the special SRAM banjo fitting...

Ahhh, that would be very sad indeed. Thanks for the info, maybe someone else will pitch it.
EDIT: This video seems to prove that you are correct.

Yeah, thanks, I'm just upset that for £5 I could have Goodridge but because SRAM want their own special banjo, I can't.

Hi, just found this thread its kinda old but i give it a try ...
i need to change the hydraulic hose of my sram road brake aswell and im wondering if i can only buy a cheap (maybe even shimano) brake hose and use my current banjo or is the banjo pressed on the hose and removing would destroy it?

I can't remember from when I did change it but I think the banjo is fused with the hose and can't be removed as such. I'm moved to Shimano and have just replaced a hose and this is certainly true with them.
Maybe I'm wrong though so hopefully someone else can enlighten you.
So I've just somehow managed to cut my rear brake hose on my SRAM Rival 22 Hydraulic setup and am in need of a new hose. I've never had to do this before but I've heard that braided hose is stronger and possibly gives you a slightly stronger brake while weighing a ton more. It's also quite a bit more expensive than regular tubing, it seems. I courier around London all day and weight does matter and as I said, this is the first time that such a thing has happened so I'm wondering whether its worth the money to buy braided or just to go for a regular hose. Also, apparently Hope and Goodridge make good quality hoses of each type but is there any other brands I should be looking at?
Edit: Regular SRAM hose kit costs about £3 less than Goodbridge so seems like a no brainer.
