Enjoyed first 20 mins, the remaining 14 hours were a slog. There were some solid gags in it but I found it too much of a bodge of different styles. Massive fan of Taika Waititi (I'm delighted he's been given the reigns of a tent pole like Thor:Ragnarok) and I really loved some of the characters but found it to garbled compared to eagle vs shark etc - the weird switch at the end of the main cop (accompanying child welfare rep) from bumbling stoner to efficient hero and moral lynchpin etc. It was just too jumbled for me. Then again i didn't like the apple animation in eagle vs shark so it's not like he hasn't got a track record for mishmash work.
