Dammmnnnn that's cool love those fat seat stays. Need that in my life. Potential dibs if you let it go

Put this together for a friend. It's his dad's old frame and wheelset, which has been buried in their shed for several years, and a load of parts we had lying around. The only new bits we bought are the tyres and a chain. It's so much fun to ride!

From the days of 'actually nice' Saracen! Looking cool

That looks nice. Very similar to my Chesini.
Had now fitted a small basket on the rack and mudguards.

Drops and ghetto shifting. Need longer guards and a slightly bigger chainring. Heavy but surprisingly fun and quick to ride. Even with the £5 tyres.

Only one i had available and wouldnt fit anywhere else. Waiting for a bar end. Got one or two sweetspot gears i mostly use during winter so works fine :)

Also repainted my own bike recently, using some decent 2 pack paint left over from some recent spray jobs, as the salt was getting through the temporary rattle-can job I did at the start of winter.
Leftover dregs of grey paint from this boat
plus some leftover green from this car
Also swapped the saddle. I really find the Turbo comfortable, and have had this one as a spare, sitting in the shed for ages. Was planning to save it for a nicer bike, but the leather on the old one had entirely worn through, so thought it was justified. I'm currently making a new front rack (feels strange to be riding without one!) for touring purposes.

Bonwitco!
Looks smart in grey, but fond memories of the faded yellow 80s one we had

Anyone in e17 area got the skills and tools to cut my steerer down and reset star nut for me? Can pay cake and coffee.
Long shot but worth a try.. -

New lease of life to that bike yet again. Did you mix the grey and green together, you mean? Looks good anyway!

Yes, trying to keep it going for as long as possible. I sprayed the whole thing with a grey base-coat, then sprayed each tube from the under-side or back-side with the green, wet-on-wet, so it all fades smoothly.
Might be more obvious in this poorly focused picture:

tha pannier bag is sick!
New seatpost. Looking for an Evo Flite saddle now.
Took it for it's first spin on the road today... Think 56t is a bit ambitious at the moment.
