You're very welcome. For portaiture, its as good as any lens you'll ever find. The bokeh is beautifully smooth, and the macro is just a bonus (even thoughy thats its main design feature). Enjoy.

More. This time Lecia M4 with Summicron 50mm F2 on Portra 160. Last time I saw my aunt before she passed away, so glad I got it in focus!

And the rest, same camera, lens and film.
These were the start of me getting brave photographing strangers.

Lastly some landscapes from the Lecia.
Just working on another 3 rolls! Sorry for being self indulgent but I'm going to keep posting them here!

Thank you, glad you like it!
That was quite a racket, they were going around like crazy just before the sun went behind the houses (it's the same kind of birds, the 'black' ones are just further down (in the shadow already), hence appear bigger and dark).
Quickly pulled the camera out of my bag and snapped a couple of shots, got lucky with this one.. -

Reminds me of the Trent Parke shot on the cover of his Minutes to Midnight book.

Konica big mini, turns on, but doesn't fire, anyone want it before I throw it in the bin?

Oh yea.. that's bats? Makes me wonder how he shot them, given the darkness and the fact they're moving fucking fast..

I think it might be late afternoon/evening. I remember in Sydney just before sunset you would see thousands of them moving from near the Harbour, east across the city.

Oops didn't notice I was a few pages back. Very like this one though, really amazing!

Like the big W. Quite low contrast on all 3, think they were underexposed?

Thank you very much. As I can remember, ISO 250 was set on my Fujica ST605, and the film was ISO 200. It is a rough looking camera, 50mm lens is falling apart, back door does not shut properly but it still takes pictures.
After looking at your film pictures and other peoples' pictures I was inspired to take up film photography. -

I really like the low contrast look of these.

My guess is the bats were shot with a flash and the image used is inverted?
Your image is just as interesting.
Literally the two most fragile cameras onthefaceofftheplanet. Enjoy ;-)
(yeah I'm jelly - all my ricohs broke and the digital ones are boring)
