Deeply embroiled in another blog about a vegan and her non-vegan boyfriend... it's absolute carnage!

Not exactly sure why I read those comments but I just did.
Phew.
To be honest - here in Berlin I've never found it a problem to be vegan whatsoever.
And I mean both the issue of finding places that offer yummy vegan food (there's another one opening like every second day, also even the cheapo discounter supermarkets offer a lot of vegan products now - it's amazing what has happened in the last years when it comes to this!), as well as the "conflict" with people that do eat meat - it's hardly ever a problem.
So reading those comments somewhat baffled me.
I guess I'm so used to a way of handling of the situation where (more or less) everyone is doing as they please - and it's respected.

Agreed on the food front in Berlin, I was there two years ago and the food was pretty amazing to say the least. There was a great burrito place near Alexanderplatz... in fact I went there twice the food was so good, place was called Delores or something?
It's always a strange one with conflict over vegans and non-vegans... I can't remember the last time I took the piss out of someone for eating meat but it seems like we're easy targets sometimes as well for going against the grain. I gave up on giving a shit what people think years ago as I don't see what my decisions in life have to do with anyone else.
