Thanks! For the money they are by far the widest you can get your hands on too.
And bmx stems are really cheap too. -

Sure! Is that purple? Looks great.

Kinda dark blue / purple. Wide bars with rise are ideal as I take my daughter on a top tube mounted seat.
What are the bars and where from?

Nice. Maxxis DTH tyres? How would you rate them?

Any advice to making this work, I got some 10 speed veloce shifters I wanted to use with a shimano 8 speed bits? I need to buy a new derailleur anyway , the cable pull did seem a bit too much when I tested it out.

Really good, pretty chunky feeling but handle rough tracks as well as tarmac, perfect for this bike.

I PM'ed him on Instagram (@jdgesus). He said:
it works with SRAMs Exact actuation derailleurs (mtn 10sp or road 11sp). It also works "ok" with campa 10sp ad sram 10sp.
And he have Chorus 11sp shifters, rival 11sp derailleur, 10/42 XD cassette and 42 front ring.
Add some black magic and it works. (seriously, my brain cant handle this. I cant understand this) -

Side on picture to make it fit in better with the other old mountain bikes.

They are budget moto-x bars that I bought from biltema.com - I'm not sure what the equivalent english shop is, but that kind of thing should be fairly easy to get one's hands on.
They are for 22.2 mm clamps, so you have to find a bmx-style stem og shim it. -

No problem. Just set the limiter screws of your reasonably old shimano mech at the ends of your 8 speed shimano or sram cassette, clamp shifter cable, take up the slack with the barrel adjuster and shift away. I've had the same setup for years, there's loads to read if you google 'shimergo', i.e.

Cheers. Might look into them. Seems exactly what I'm looking for.

If you're after puncture protection, I really cannot recommend the Schwalbe Big Bens highly enough. Hardwearing and really good flat protection.
They don't come in tanwall like the DTH though. -

Kind consideration or fear of a lawsuit?

Kind consideration from what I've read

I currently have Big Apples, which seems kinda similar to me? Pretty nice and no flats so far in 2000k.
They would suit my functional steed too I think.
