Question. Both tonight and on the way home after the tube strike I've found my handle bars and gloves so sodden my hands have been slipping on my handlebars quite a bit in all the liquid. I've never felt the need to spend more than a few quid on bar tape before so I've got cheap grip. It's camo though so teenage boys walk past saying shit like "Fam! You see that guys handlebars? They're fire!" I'm all about appealing to the youth of today... I've got some lovely Rapha gloves which I love to bits and work really well. Would spending more on better tape actually eradicate the slipperyness or is it just a thing to deal with?
So cold. Almost couldn't open the front door.
