how far down? and how do you find them off the bike?
I think I'm going to try and get a pair of synthetic trousers. I want to replace my tatty HG leathers I bought for a tenner from copythat years ago. Not sure why, but I find choosing trousers for the bike a real fucking pain. Everything seems to be an expensive compromise.
The Roadcrafter is good in that it's all in one, but has zero inherent warmth plus takes up loads of space in the office. My Hood jeans aren't that suitable for wearing off the bike, so seem a bit redundant... I should probably try them without armor... but then I wouldn't have the protection. I reckon leather jeans would be my ideal, but they are ££££s and also a pain to find in over-the-boot varieties (which I never understand).
If anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate it.

Been looking for some decent motorbike jeans for a while, but price and style haven't met. Finally stumbled upon maple jeans. Shame they wen't bust, but I picked some up super cheap!
Kevlar lined, cone denim, foreceild armour. Perfect.
