I suppose it's fine for me as the seller, I just don't understand it as a buying strategy.

I doubt anyone with a lot of transactions would bother to do repeated little bids. It's like dipping your toe in the water.

I've never got fitness monitors, and now they've jumped the shark.

From a consumer's POV they make less sense than the business. All that data harvest .. all those hungry advertisers ..

Twitter and TCR.
Twitter - I see links posted to things that are "fucking hilarious" and the likes on Twitter and I have a look but I just can't decipher how it all works, who's talking to who and what comment follows what.
I think it's just me getting old and it's one of the first things that is too new for me. It's a slippery slope, quite soon I won't be able to work the telly or the kettle I'm sure.
TCR - Guess its just coz I'm not into either the competitive element nor the sleeping in a ditch in a bin bag element. Seems like a good way to ruin a nice bike ride.

TCR is awesome because normal mortals do superhuman things. That we have lfgss members who have participated and completed it is fucking amazing and inspiring.

Yeah, maybe you're right.
It is pretty awesome that a couple light mounts and a headset cap I made for 2 riders from Glasgow are going to cover all those miles.

Paul's Boutique is one of the finest album's of the past 28 years with more innovation and idea's than most bands could ever wish for. Please listen to it.

Agree with all those, until seeing Suede live last year - they were very good indeed and Bert was a proper frontman, rather than the expected skinny Morrissey. On that:

I don't really get Sonic Youth, I've got a couple of their albums and I think I should because I like plenty of bands that cite them as a big influence, but the recorded versions of the songs don't really grab me. However, I once saw them live and they were absolutely incredible. Maybe they just don't make sense on the stereo in the living room...
No that's shit. I do it once to get it there then quite often forget I did it but it works most of the time. I don't get alerts for anything as they're just like white noise.
