  • Been playing Factorio, haven't had so much fun in ages. If you are into strategy and logic kind of games you should check it out.

  • ^ Yep, it's excellent

  • If you like that you'd probably like Zachtronics games. Spacechem and Infinifactory are both great, Shenzen I/O looks amazing but I'm waiting until I have time to learn how to play it.

  • Ooh will look into them. Think I'm going to have to take it slow as these kind of games suck up so much time

  • Same, though I'm miffed that I missed the limited edition with physical manual, that looked pretty fancy.

  • There're so many quests you don't need to ration them out. I've been v worried about finishing the game too early, doing multiple side quests so I don't finish the main one too early, but I needn't have been - it's enormous. Been playing for around 30 hours and thought I was nearing the end (no spoilers) lifting a curse from a certain ugly person, and it's clearly just triggered Part Two of the game. Huge.

  • The house across from us is having an attic conversion done. Today the roof went on and was felted.

There is now a large, bright orange propane tank sitting right out in the open in the middle of the new roof.

All I can think is "I will probably need to shoot it later when the zombies come that way."

  • Apparently the second expansion, Blood and Wine is basically another whole game as well. So much content

  • Taking a break from frustratingly awesome Bloodbourne for some witcher 3.

    It is something to behold.
Got stuck in a tavern playing Qwunt or something with a guy smelling of raspberries and elderflower...

  • Yeah I'm currently working through B&W. It's pretty awesome, and such a change from the original. Much brighter colours etc..

  • I'm playing a lot of witcher 3 at the minute but I haven't played any Gwent, the game is already so big that it feels like I'm going to be playing it for the rest of my life so don't feel like wasting time playing card games. Probably gonna find out that being a Gwent master is the only way to finish the game after about 200 hours!

  • Yeah I've just realised just how many side quests there are just in the bit of the map I've discovered so far, ridiculous. I've also just realised whilst looking at a wiki that there are multiple acts too, I was thinking of putting off going to Skellige just yet as I thought that was the final third, truly large game.

Have got right into the gwent side of it, I basically have to play every merchant I come across now to get all the cards I can. As far as I can tell so far it doesn't significantly affect the plot or gameplay so I don't think you miss out by not playing. Was pretty nice to find out there's a free to play PvP standalone version of the game

  • Bought the humble bundle Assassins Creed for Chronicles and Liberation.
Liberation is much better on PC than the Vita. It's actually playable!

Chronicles only had a few minutes go but seems pretty nice.

  • the game is already so big that it feels like I'm going to be playing it for the rest of my life so don't feel like wasting time playing card games

So planning to waste the rest of your life playing a video game then?

  • Only got one life to waste, so I'm prioritising decapitating monsters and scoundrels!

  • Gwent is fantastic. great mini-game. though the only pissing quest I haven't done in my 99.99999% complete game is collect all the cards as some are quest/time-locked I think.

  • That's the worst scenario in the world.

  • Terraria though.

  • I couldn't be bothered by Gwent and it annoyed me that my quest log was cluttered with that crap.

  • Anybody got a wired 360 controller they want to get rid of? £10?

  • Kind of.

I've got a wireless 360 controller without the battery pack, but with the charging cable.
So it needs to be wired to get power.
Also have a the wireless receiver if you were using it for PC (as I was)

  • thanks for the reply. just nipped into sw9 games and they had one so all sorted

  • Preordered a Switch but only because it's a birthday present from the wife. £280 without a game. Ouch

  • Jealous. I'm tempted but I'm out of the country when it would get delivered.

  • The Switch is the only console that's perked my interest since the DS, looking forward to some reviews!
