About the ICE dust removal I'd say make the effort to scan the same image with / without / with different settings, to see when it starts to smudge things or rob sharpness.
I usually start with "auto" then dial it down a bit.
That redscale film I'm just scanning is dirty as fuck as well so definitely not going to stamp this all out per hand.. -

Portra 800! You should have a butler clean the dust by hand..... That stuff is pricey! Nice shots though.

I'm seriously considering a iiia so I was pleased to see good images here - Would you recommend it?
I'd been looking for a Bessa T but was offered a iiia at an attractive price.
I'm happy with light metering and it comes with a good lens, so my only concerns are ergonomic (viewfinder, focussing and general faffing)

Still getting to grips with my Epson v800. Although the internet seems dead set against ICE dust removal - I'll be damned if I'm going to remove it manually in PS!
