I used to use those pens quite a bit. My stuff eventually got a bit too loose for them - i don't do a huge amount of linework these days. Here's a tree-based trio wot i dun:

I like those. Can't help but want to rearrange them into a different order though :-)

Cool Trees. Are they computer drawn?

Ha, yeah i didn't really do them to be a triptych. just out of interest, what order? :-)
They're drawn in photoshop, using a graphics tablet. My wife just bought me a Cintiq tablet for my birthday, but i've been swamped with boring design work and not had a chance to properly use it.

I used to do a weekly drawing challenge thing with a few colleagues: a new word each week and you have till the following week to produce a drawing (or whatever) using that word as the basis. It worked well as it was nice and open to interpretation and you got a lot of variety in the approach to the brief. There's a similar photography thing here actually, but none for scribbling as far as I can tell.
I'd be up for starting a thread up for it on here if enough people fancied it. Any takers?

OK
Feel free to hop over here and give me your thoughts. I'm kind of hoping a few people express solid interest before cracking on with it. Mainly so I don't look like a total dweeb, posting pictures on my own :-)

I did this illustration for The Ride Journal a little while back and my brother was saying I should get some prints done before spring.

I've been working on a personal project where I take two stock images and put them back together to try and make something a little more interesting. Here's some of the results

Nice work. Do one for the drawing challenge! Before it fizzles out without getting off the ground :-)
I do, but it's mostly cats right now. I'll probably start another one for my wood carvings soon :-)

That drawing's from about 15 years ago. I used to doodle stuff like that and one day bought a piece of A1 surface board and doodled on the same thing for several weeks. It's direct inkwork, without pencil, using a few different thicknesses of pen.
I see you can still get the same ones
