The SKF BB is not available any more i think?
So no point in mentioning it over and over again.Or where do you get one?

What are you talking about? Google gave me Velo Vitality as top result, or Compass Bicycles for the US.
I brought another one not long ago.
Do you know something we don't?

Couldn't find a single one online in germany, only on compass and the one andy-k posted.
Seem hard to get here. Someone on a touring forum mentioned they were discontinued, dunno where he got that from though.

When we heard that SKF might stop selling their bottom brackets, we
offered to distribute the bottom brackets for the company. SKF bottom
brackets will remain available directly from Compass Bicycles and
through our network of quality bicycle shops. We are committed to
keeping all available sizes in stock at all times. Below, you see our
latest shipment from Germany as it arrived…https://janheine.wordpress.com/2011/01/27/skf-bottom-brackets-world-exclusive/

I feel like "we need to go bigger" is the rack equivalent of "we need to go narrower" for handlebars in the early 00s.

Yeah, looks like they bottled it with the full-on Jones loop copy. Shame.
Got a bit handbags on the STW forum if you want a read...
