• Last bit^ was @not4sale. Of course that sort of badbwoy type behaviour on buses is usually selfish and a 'dick move' (as is jamming doors on tubes to let your mates catch the train) and I was just being flippant with stevo_com, but once you get properly stuck on buses in gridlock, the drivers should start letting people off at other stops if they ask. Anything else is just bloodyminded jobsworthery, and letting yourself off IS totally understandable.

  • letting yourself off IS totally understandable

I'm not sure that 'letting yourself off' on the bus or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays is ever understadable.

  • I always cycle

I know - I was being flippant too

How about bloodyminded jobsworthery when a bus driver is under ( H & S ?) instructions not to allow a passenger onto his bus when stationary in gridlocked traffic or 5 yards from the bus stop he has just left but sat at traffic lights ?

    Yeah
