  • My boss sent me home at 3pm. He said he was worried that I might get knocked off my bicycle in the cold and the rain in busy traffic. I didn't argue. Now home alone. Feet up. Cuppa. Mince pie. Telly. Darts.

  • Those feet aren't up..

  • That's a dick move

  • Yeah it is. Being stuck in gridlock on a bus is totally frustrating, though. So I understand why people sometimes do it.

  • I'm too scared to leave the office. I don't want to have to face what I had to face this morning again.

  • Ride in took me 1hr 10 mins to do 11 miles. Ride home just took me 45 mins. Admittedly I did leave a bit early.

  • do you even emergency exit button just above exit doors

Being stuck in gridlock on a bus is totally frustrating

Frustrating for the rest of the bus passengers - what makes
    you so special ?

    Have you considered cycling ?

  • Left about 9.30 to do a bit of shopping. Madness. There must have been ten people at the bus stop just down the road - you know, the one outside Stewart Lee's house - and I had to move slightly to one side to get past them.
There was no one in the greengrocers and Whole Food Market was deserted. Like something from a Hollywood movie. Back outside there were at least another ten people at the bus stop on Stamford Hill and getting past again required nifty footwork.
There was a strange air of fear and paranoia in Morrisons and the same in Sainsbury's. I was glad to get back home. I tried to nap but it wasn't easy, thinking about the carnage and anger out there. I dropped off eventually and had some samosas when I woke up.

  • Popcorns..

  • NW London commute. Nothing to report. Usual stream of cars, some angry. Humans on cycles cease to exist past a certain area up Finchley road. meh/10

  • Oof, that was a bit tense. Cunts everywhere.

  • Yeah yeah Mondays - but did you have a great weekend ?

  • I've had two months off, I don't know what day of the week it is.

  • Love Will's posts ...

    Have you considered cycling ?

Haha I always cycle, haven't been on a rush hour bus for 15 years.
