It is called the rx4 caliper. Try calling them? Always v helpful on the phone.

They said that they were going to be releasing them in January when I called them just before Christmas

Anyone seen a Flat Mount version?

I would recommend getting some bars that could accommodate the new di2 junction box
I want that :)
And I don't want to be drilling carbon handlebars, though could live with drilling some alu bars.
Does anyone produce handlebars with the necessary holes for Di2 or other cabling yet?

The only ones I know that are currently Di2 compatible are the Pro Vibe: http://www.pro-bikegear.com/global/en-gb/road/handlebars/PRO_HA_VIBECARBON
I won't go aero, can never attach stuff to aero bars.

Yeah, but they're cheating and putting the junction box down the seat tube which makes charging a PITA. They've put the Di2 cables on the rear brake cable until they're inside the top tube, rather than going via the internal of the bars using the Di2 bar end junction box.

Ah.
I know nothing about such things, just thought it was pretty neat.

Having a junction box underneath your stem is fine. You never notice it and anything else makes the wiring harder.
Get one of these and you'll be grand.

Ugly though.
Pretty sure Pro are doing a regular non-aero set of bars with the di2 holes in them.
-
• #314
Why ugly?
-
• #315
The external di2 junction box is hardly a pretty thing, especially with wires dangling out of it.
-
• #316
It's no uglier than any other cabling.
Bike have cables.

• #317
What about a sweet brkless fixie bike?
-
• #318
I'm with everyone else, the di2 box is ugly and just horribly poor design which needs to be shoved into some orriface somewhere and the bar end design is the appropriate next step.
Those pro vibe handlebars are just narrower in the drops which is why the flare out again, surely most if not all bars are hollow, so all those that take di2 internally at the hoods are already compatible ?

The junction box is bonded to the underside of stem on both of my bikes... (the little snap fitting clip thing that the junction box clips on to is bonded to be precise)
Having the junction box under the stem is far from the prettiest way of doing things, but for a bike that gets used regularly it is the most functional.

That river path near Twickenham can still be ridden through without a care for the diminished braking afterwards
You mean when it's under water from Richmond bridge to (almost) the ferry ?

That'll be the one.
Though don't try cycling through it at high-tide as that will come near the top tube... just do it when it's only going to splash your feet a little.

I know that area perfectly, used to be a Twicker for 6 years before moving to Brentford. Always chose to ride on the road though, choosing that path only for lazy rides (too many vibrations later on towards Twickenham)

Btw wish I would have this budget to go down a similar route! One day I'll sell all my bikes and get a frameset built for me and that'll be it.

One day I'll sell all my bikes and get a frameset built for me and that'll be it and I'll get many bikes that way.
Fixed that for you.
Hope were the first site I looked at for brakes, even going so far as thinking about using the V-twin with the Campagnolo levers. But as much as I love their products (the Robin Mather has 4-piston Hope calipers) their website and product information isn't confidence inspiring... they don't even list the RX4: http://www.hopetech.com/products/brakes/road/ http://www.hopetech.com/products/brakes/
