Mentally I almost certainly can't do both. I've raced Nat 12hr after Nat 24hr and struggled. It's doable but I won't be at peak. Just sleeping properly will take a week or two after TABR so that's going to fuck recovery. Plus there's the planning and stuff for TCR which I will probably wing because I can't invest the time in both. So I will have a sub-optimal route (same as last year) and just see what happens.
Anyone got details for getting back from the finish yet? Probably should book that sooner rather than later.
Fat adaptation is a load of horseshit. Carbs are king.
I want to 'race' TABR and 'finish' TCR so I'm really only concerned about fitness for TABR and being able to ride at all for TCR. Oh my aching arse...
