RideWithGPS won't split and keep your waypoints but you can still split the route.

Using a Garmin 200 I've found it shits itself when using waypoints as it greatly increases the size of the file; so i've got used to following routes without waypoints which seems to work OK. Not as good as using a GPS with base maps, but works fine.
