I charge my garmin about once a week. Even then I'm just plugging it into a mini-USB old school blackberry charger at work. Can't sync via a work computer as no admin rights to install garmin connect anyway.
So my options are:
Wait until I get home, then start up laptop, find mini-USB, let it all sync, remember what bike I was on and so forth.
Or.
Get to work/home, press a button to end the ride, press another button to save it. Sync automatically and I take a quick peek at strava on my phone to see if I'm faster than I was yesterday.
I definitely prefer the second option and I don't regret spending £100 on a 2nd hand 510 purely for that feature.
