Mine is excellent at lacerating my middle finger, twice in quick succession. I think I was getting a bit lackadaisical when I was opening it. I now make a conscious effort not to imitate a Transformer and open it up with less aplomb.

I was going to say no need to spend on a brand for something using Stanley blades, but actually they're pretty cheap.
I'd be inclined to get something like that that can go in a pocket.
I was watching something yesterday about oil blackening for bolts, and it made me wonder why non-stainless knives don't do the same thing?
