Not too sure, I haven't tried.. maybe heat it up a bit first?
aluminium is softer than steel, but I'm not sure which is more brittle.. -

Ok, so might be a bit risky bending that back all the way. Unless you would be replacing it anyway, in which case it might be worth bending it back half way?
