Yes - nout wrong with Quarqs. Mixing SRAM and Shimano is a bit esoteric but I was thinking that if you are concerned about blowing the budget and want to maximise enjoyment of the bike a PM would be the first thing to get the chop in favour of something more rad, like more premium Italian footwear.
tl:dr a copy of Faster by Hutch is more fun and much cheaper
