  • Everyone who does national service has to pass an annual shooting test, and people practice (I know, I cycled on a road across a shooting range once and could hear the bullets fizzing over my head). So I'm not sure how controlled ammunition is.

  • The military service ammo comes in sealed clips that you have to present for inspection annually. If any are missing, it is a criminal offence.

    Training is done with ammo that isn't kept at home.
