I'm looking to change my bank this year (twas one of my things to do in 2017). I'm currently with HSBC who are - by my understanding - the devil.
I don't really care much about interest rates and the like as this is my account for wages in > money out to shared accounts between myself and the wife for all the bills. I put savings somewhere else.
What I want is a bank that has at least some ethics, but also has good mobile access via an app which will let me move money when needed but does not require some other plastic gumph to authorise payments (Nationwide requires a card reader thing for such things).
Co-op here. Mobile phone app works well for transfer between accounts and paying 3rd parties. Text alerts etc. Don't need plastic gumph once payees are set up.
Ethical Banking.

Any recommendations?
