My TDL RTL2s are great and I got them for £40 from eBay. The newer TDLs (Studio 5 etc) are apparently crap, but the rest of the RTL range are supposed to be good, my mate got the RTL3s after hearing my 2s and he loves them - I think he paid about £75. They're massive, but the 2s are quite skinny.
I've heard good things about Rega Ela speakers as well, but I've not had a chance to listen to them. Don't really know much else, although my Sony Brooklands ones were apparently made by TDL for Sony and sound very nice too (£20 from eBay).
