I have many bikes, this one gets to be a show pony.
If I crashed it I would be gutted.

As long as there's enough shows for it to go to! That was the problem with my show pony track bike - not enough shows so it just gathered dust after a while.

can I ask how you added the glitter? Do you need to apply laquer afterwards?

Hi, I am merely the owner! @privatepatterson from Cole Coatings will be able to talk you through the paint process!

The flake is mixed into a clear base and then applied with an HVLP gun with a large nozzle kit. 1.2 - 1.4.
Afterwards it does need at least one really good clearcoat. Two would be better to hide the the texture of the glitter from the touch.

Any update ?

Many other things conspired to block this build this year, mainly money spent on racing. The frame is minty fresh, wrapped up and waiting many blingy parts.
Let's just say the paint is curing nicely, haha.

Searching for Neil Orrell decals brought me here.
I have a blue and yellow 531 Neil Orrell that was evidently painted in C & G Finishes (Liverpool I believe) and also has what appears to be IIDRK on the top tube near the seat lug.
Any wisdom? Anyone there?Edit: 30 seconds later I found out what DRK is! Das Rad Klub, a cycling club from Bristol.
Open call for info still live! -

Has this been resolved yet?
I can't believe 7 years after I sold it to you @Cazakstan it's still not finished yet!
Where are you going to ride it when it is finished?
Wonderful paint! Great job.
