... but need payment by bank transfer for that (no Paypal).
Why's that? It places all the risk with the buyer, which doesn't seem fair.
I'm not suggesting you're dishonest, but what happens if they are lost/damaged in transit for example?
They'd then be relying upon your goodwill to refund them, while you pursue a claim with the shipper.
Probably best to offer them for collection only.

Fair point. I got diddled by a thief on a Paypal payment. They claimed the item was not as described, automatically got a full refund, claimed to have sent back the item but never did. F-all way to appeal on Paypal. I've updated the original post.

Hi,
I'm interested in these, at the risk of sounding like a bike nerd do you know the weights.
Might be able to pop by and take a look tomorrow evening if you're about

Manufacturer quoted 1,640 but I haven't weighed them to check accuracy.

Nice to meet you buddy. All best :)
SOLD
700c Pave 28 on DT Swiss 350 hubs. All black. 20 hole front, 24 hole rear.
These are like new. I built up a bike and rode up and down the street on them to fettle the gears and brakes. That’s it. For sale because I’m not getting out to ride since arrival of a new baby (and new baby means I need the money).
Details of the hubs are here: http://www.stradawheels.co.uk/product/dt-swiss-350-road-hubs/. 11-speed, Shimano freehub.
Details of the rims are here: http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/pave-28-rim.htm. The rims are a Superstar Components part and they did the build. I don’t have a note of the spokes but I’m 99% sure they are Sapim Laser.
There’s a review of a similar build here: http://road.cc/content/review/140076-superstar-components-pave-28-wheelset. These are basically the same but with a better hub.
Superstar Components do a lifetime truing service (FWIW - probably cheaper to to go LBS than send them back...) and these came with a 2-year warranty (from September, when I bought them). I assume the warranty isn’t transferable, but if buyer has a problem with them I am really happy to deal with warranty as long as you pay postage costs as incurred.
