Saw it too a few days ago. Also the forks don't seem correct.

I was suspicious of it, just cos of the price. I have email alerts for "somec" ha!

I contacted the company and asked if my Somec was their job and indeed they confirmed it is.
Unfortunately they don't paint bikes anymore...

oh such a shame :( I'd have loved to have my Somec in such an amazing paintworks!

After 9 months the Somec is finally finished. I had some parts pantographed by Somec in Italy, the little hands are symbol of my hometown Antwerp. The stones on the cobalto brakes I made myself so the colour and shape is a bit different to the original stones. I’m really happy with the way she turned out.

Built up my Somec pista 89'. It'll go through a few changes in the next few weeks but it's pretty much done. Mismatch of non period correct Record components minus the seat post which is Chorus but meh, what ya gonna do?
