I've got a length spare from a Transfil Black Snake derailleur kit: yours for a warm smile and a firm handshake...

Corded will be 240 or 110 volts so the power factor (watts) is voltage x amps. They generally need to be designed to operate on a 13amp circuit, it's probably required that they list their wattage.
Battery models are perceived to be stronger the more powerful the battery but that's not taking into account the design of the motor, power use etc. It's easier to look at the speed and torque of the drill and decide if that works for the jobs you want to do, that applies to corded and cordless. It's a bit more complex assessing SDS drills.

I've bought this before, works pretty well.
Annoyingly though I can't quite remember what size I bought :s
Edit: think it was the 2x3mm tubing

can you get the bearings out of a standard sram gxp bb?
-
• #81131
Yes, but it's gonna be destructive.
-
• #81132
how do you do it?
-
• #81133
Hammer them out from the inside of the cup with a drift.
The external BBs I've seen are bearings pressed in to an alu cup. There's little magic to it.
Your next challenge is to press the new bearing in straight - if that's what you are intending on doing.

Wish I knew mate. my lbs put them on during a routine service.

What old brake lever will fit the ~26mm section of a handlebar

?
-
• #81137
how do you do it?
You don't. The bearings represent about 90% of the value of the BB, so it's simply not worth the effort to try to rebuild one.

Any recommendations for chainring bolts to run a single (brompton) ring on a Shimano 6601 crankset? Ideally steel and ideally black. I've used the raceface black steel ones before on a double, but can't work out if they'd be too long (I don't have the cranks yet, so can't try one out).

Any suggestions for central London pubs which have a pub quiz on a Wednesday night. Cheers

BB386 evo. Cranks and BB please. Something relatively nice (not FSA gossamer)
Trying to help a friend build a bike but I've confused myself.
cheers. -

BB386 evo...not FSA
386EVO is FSA's gig, and Gossamers are fine. If you are a snob, Campag OverTorque will go into a 386EVO shell without looking like you're trying to fuck an elephant with a mouse's dick, same goes for Rotor 30s and a surprisingly large subset of SRAM "BB30" cranks which, like Rotors, use spacers to pack out the gap between the 86mm axle and the 68mm BB30 shell. Shimano HT2, SRAM GXP and Campag UltraTorque and PowerTorque will all go in a 386EVO shell with the right adapters, and apart from looking like there's a load of wasted space, the actual functional difference between a 24/25mm steel axle and a 30mm aluminium one is pretty small.

Cheers. If carbon is their thing- what BB/ bearing set do I get for this?

what BB/ bearing set do I get
386EVO uses the same bearings as PF-BB30, the FSA part number is BB-PF6000 with steel bearings.
For my money, the Campag Comp Ultra OverTorque is prettier, cheaper, and uses a better supported chainring bolt pattern, so you're more likely to be able to get replacements when they wear out

Please don't buy that
-
• #81145
If you are interested in the campagnolo over torque, I have a set that I want rid of 52 36 I think no BB cups though.
-
• #81146
TBF it's a good system that allow them to run it on conventional 68mm threaded BB.
-
• #81147
I don't think he was attacking 386EVO on principle, just the ugly 4-bolt FSA road cranks.
-
• #81148
@mdcc_tester and all.
So it would be those cranks and

essentially? -

just the ugly 4-bolt FSA road cranks
yep
-
• #81150
those cranks and
ribblecycles.co.uk/campagnolo-over-torque-os-fit-cups/#pid=6196
essentially?Yes, although if you want 50/34x170mm then Merlin is your friend
https://www.merlincycles.com/campagnolo-comp-ultra-over-torque-road-chainset-11-speed-92904.html and Comp One has the same looks for less if you're not trying to save the last 40g by getting the posh version.
where can one buy these?
