Paul Clement likely to be appointed as Swansea manager according to the BBC. Seems a brave choice, he did okay at Derby but hardly set the world alight, and a young manager with a reputation for playing passing, attacking football doesn't seem the best choice for a relegation fight.

I think thats a good fit, goes back to what Swansea were doing before with young managers but whether he gets a good run of it is a different matter, felt bradley had much more to prove than other european managers simply by being american coz "americans dont understand football"
oh yeah 13 on the bounce winning the points & happy new year plastics and real fanzzzz.

If you think he plays attacking football then you obviously didn't see us while he was in charge at Derby.
Passing yes. Sideways or backwards. Slow build up. Pass it around the box. Is anyone free for a pass into the box? No? Back to the halfway line.
He managed to take an exciting, possession based football team with a good goal scoring record and turn us into a boring, shot shy team who would sometimes grind out results or hang on to the 0-0.
He won't be able to save them. There's no evidence of him turning a team round positively and he got very little respect from the players in the dressing room at Derby. He'll bring his signed Zlatan shirt and hang it in his office and constantly tell the Swansea players they just don't train as hard as Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic and that's how he'll try and motivate them.

Taps nose.

Was about to say he didn't manage to motivate a young team of heading somewheres, so I can't see him managing to turn around a team of falling aparts.

Was that before or after they brought in the work experience kids for the annual Boxing Day Hunt?

Also, what about those who abstain from alcohol for religious reasons, or recovering alcoholics for whom this could be a trigger?
Disgusting, insensitive behaviour.

And what about Neverton?

Sunderland yesterday were absolutely terrible, easily the worst team I've seen this season. Their number 5 in particular had no idea how to defend.

I saw WHU at home to Hull - terrible performance against a team that didn't seem to have a clue.
3 points are theee points though.

Just seen the score after producing a hearty post New Years mushroom based breakfast...
Thought the match was later on today was thinking of heading to the effra to watch. But 4-0 up before half time, will wait for highlights.
I'm assuming this match is over and done with, now onto the Chelsea match, hoping our new found goal scoring touch doesn't desert us... -
