Am I up first? It's a damp start to 2017 in Balham. Oddly mild. I'm sitting at the kitchen table strewn with the debris of a top night with friends and not even thinking about clearing up. Wouldn't want to wake anyone would I? Happy New Year folks. My biggest 2016 event? Got married! To the delightful Helen.

I forgot to celebrate because The Big Lebowski was on tv...

Ah ya bastard. Got me there. I'm a lightweight these days. 3 pm to bed. 2 pints of water. Surprisingly clear head. Twas a good un. Roll on the new year.

Was in bed at 9pm, alarm set for 1am to enter Snowdonia Marathon (which always opens at midnight and sells out by morning), then back to sleep. Think I might try to get flu every year.
