• TBF, heel clearance wasn't an issues, so can't really blame them for that.

    I can speculate why the Microshift doesn't work, it's likely the internal mechanism is flimsy at best and the hubs required precise indexing to get it just right.

    Look like Genesis still sell them with the Microshift shifter on it, not enough warranty cause to resort replacing it I guess.

  • Genesis are in denial that there is a problem, if as a dealer you ring them and tell them your customer is having issues they will say they are not aware of anything and offer to send out a replacement microshit unit...

    The problem is 100% caused by the lack of accuracy with the indexing/cable pull. As with @M_V since I changed to the rapidfire unit shifting has been perfect, had no faith in the bike previously as kept slipping under load at dangerous times.

  • That's a shame, they were quite receptive when I highlighted on social media that there was no grease used in the assembly of the bb on mine.

    I'd check yours btw.
