Slid off on an icy roundabout today - dislocated my elbow which I put back in within seconds of hitting the deck, and just got back from A&E. They suspect a hairline fracture so I'm going back to the fracture clinic tomorrow.
Frustrating, as we decided not to go to Surrey (Box Hill/Leigh Hill) due to the ice so headed to Richmond. Did a lap, and I suggested we head for Dorking and see how it is, and maybe do Box Hill but avoid the others. Got about 5 miles down the road and slid off right outside Maiden Manor train station - which was convenient to get back to Loughborough Junction.
Not in too much pain now. I'll see what they say tomorrow but I imagine it'll be a few weeks to heal up. Doctor said the sling was for comfort rather than mandatory.
