One more question on this subject ed: you swapped from the racer to the compass centre-pulls on your oak/talbot, why is that and did you find an improvement?
@MisterMikkel Bloody lovely, the Pan saddle is great for that kind riding position.
TBH they're not the most amazing brakes in the world, but they stop me fairly well without resorting to really pulling on the levers.
Yup, Soma Mixte, traditional frame work best when the tubing haven't been curved (e.g. like those with an hourglass stay).
