What's the deal with this box at the top of web pages visited via google and how do I turn it off?
It's using screen real estate and doesn't disappear with scrolling.

That's interesting. I'd heard about this but didn't put the two together. It's only on some pages as well.

Ah I thought about that but I hadn't seen it in Safari and it looks quite different to Chrome and then looking at the ugly Wired site assumed it was something going wrong...
