No pics today as it's in storage but I've resolved to renew my lht a bit. Built 7yrs ago by Brixton but never quite felt right with drops for me due to being a touch long. Has shit budget 25mm tyres which are trashed.
On that note I'm following the current tourer trend and have just ordered a pair of Humpert City Cruiser bars, ergo grips and cheap Dia Comp levers for a new hopefully more relaxed position. Luckily it was originally built with d/t shifters so no need to splash out on new shifters.
I really shouldn't have but also treated myself to Compass Bon Jon tyres as well...
Things to do to get it ready for touring this summer:
Service v brakes and gears(upgrade to salmon pads probably)
Finally cut steerer
Choose a usb charging system to go with the Schmidt hub
Pizza rack?
Anything or bikebuddy cage for trangia fuel
To fund the upgrades I'm finally gonna sell my fixie skiddah along with a bit of a TA cyclotouriste stash..
